Gulf Institute of Gemology’s mission is to ensure the public trust in gems and jewelry by upholding the highest standards of integrity, academics, science, and professionalism through Education, Research, Laboratory Services, analytical methodologies and special instrument development.
GIG first objective is to spread the correct knowledge of gemology, jewelry and goldsmith art, in order to contribute to the culture and development of the jewelry market with full respect for quality, certification, sustainability and traceability of gems.
In the 2019, GIG has been recognized by the World Jewellery Confederation, CIBJO. We proudly represent Oman and GCC in the world.

Executive Team follows a strict code of ethics and
seeks to infuse each initiative.
Executive staff maintains daily operations for all
areas of the Institute and promotes and continues
the growth of GIG.
